Horwath Bahrain at the High Council for Vocational Training meeting:

Dr Majeed Bin Mohsin Al Alawi, Minister of Labor and Social Affairs has chaired the meeting of The High Council for Vocational Training.  Fuad Alkaabi, Managing Partner, presented the auditor’s report on the council’s accounts for the year 2003.   The council has approved the accounts.


Farewell party:

Horwath Bahrain has held a farewell party to honor Ms Smitha Nair, Auditor, ho has left the company after years of service.  Mr. Fuad Alkaabi, Managing Partner presented Smitha with a gift on behalf of the company.

 

 

Horwath Bahrain sings an agreement with BCCI to create awareness about benefits of FTA:

 
Horwath Bahrain has singed an agreement with Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) to create awareness among businessmen and  members of the BCCI about benefits of the FTA.  According to the agreement, Horwath Bahrain, in cooperation with Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), will run training programmes for businessmen and members of the BCCI aimed at creating awareness about the benefits of the Bahrain-US Free Trade Agreement (FTA).

Horwath will also provide text material to the participants of the workshops containing all related information about the legal aspects of the FTA.
The workshops will also highlight the salient features of the agreement such as ownership rights and resolution of disputes etc.

The acting secretary general of the BCCI, Abdulrahim Naqi, said that the partnership with Horwath would be of great help to the Bahraini businessmen. “The workshop is part of a major initiative by the BCCI to create awareness about the FTA and how common businessmen could use it effectively to enhance their business potential. The BCCI will also host a number of workshops and seminars in coming months as part of this initiative,” he said.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Horwath Bahrain, Ghazi Al Mossawi, underlined the importance of the agreement with the BCCI and said that the company looked forward for other similar ventures in future.  “We are pleased to have an agreement with the BCCI as our company has the expertise in this highly specialized area of training. The workshop participants will have a rare opportunity to learn about the use of latest technology and how they could benefit from the FTA with the US,” he said.
